Hair Vs. Frizz

If your in the "Down South" you may have to battle the humility daily. This never ending battle is largly because of you porosity level. Hair that absorbs moisture quickie will absorbs the water in the air. To prevent this we have to constantly keep moisture in daily maintenance hair care practices. I have learned that giving clients deep conditioning rejuvenation treatments every four months their hair repels the humility in the southern air. Getting hair to this state is hard work and daily maintenance. Starting with the salon visit deep conditioning and moisturizing shampoos starts the rebuilding process. Clipping split ends and using heat protectors while straightening hair also locks in moisture. Wrapping hair or pin curling hair at night (daily) with a leave in conditioner (Applied every other day to prevent excessive build up) keeps hair evenly moisturized and helps maintain hair after salon visit. Biolage has a great daily care leave in conditioner.

Summer Bliss Fashion Show Houston

On July 30th Houston was taken over by great summer looks from outstanding clothing designers, make up artist, hair stylist, and jewelry designers.The show was awesome thanks to all the participants. Check out some of the look I did below.

I have noticed the fore told feather trend has taken off and is showing up every where. Last weekend at the Summer Bliss Fashion Show, at malls, in training classes, and even the local Starbucks. This Trend is great and worthy to be praised. Feathers are a chic accessory that we can use in our hair, on earrings, and even clothing. I just LOVE 'EM!!!

Billy Reid has a great look for fall and the partings to match. Hair styling was kept whimsical with long parts and low pony tails. Cynthia Steffe's Fall collection takes the side part to dramatics by pushing one side back. All while keeping with in proportions to the over all style.

The has to be a focus point for every fashion show, yet in the Fall 2011 premier for Ruffian and his team honestly had a cohesive thought will setting up for the show. With the clothing giving a dramatic play on mens wear the hair is wisped off the face in parallel dramatics. I simply love it! The styles are all similar yet take on their own identity. The look makes the eye see the face first the an out ward look at the building from this center point in parallel proportions.
